Her Voice !!!!

One in the late days of January 2010, the inside roads of Kalwa, Mumbai. It was just midnight, so cold and quiet and breezy. As I was walking, I saw an Auto rickshaw pass by. And it stopped behind me. I heard her crying, “Please drop me back at home, this is not what I signed up for. Don’t do this”. The voice was high pitched, sweet, but helpless and desperate and young, a college student.
I looked back, and started moving nearer to the vehicle with an intention to help her out. I took few steps backward, and soon came thoughts stormed into my mind, “Will I be physically handle the villain? Am I capable enough? Is it kinda showing off action?”
Then I stopped. I felt like there was a battle going inside me head. “Should I help/act doing right thing which might hurt me or walk away from it being on the safer side?” The question was “Is it right thing, worth the sufferings or walking away losing a life!” as I was struggling finding no one near, the auto started moving forward, I didn’t speak, I didn’t respond, I didn’t move. The driver took the auto further away from me, and I heard the voice of the cry fading away.

Today as I still remember that voice that is still resonating and echoing in my ears, the story is unfolded…

My Brother and friends all over the World. ARE YOU GOING TO RAISE YOUR VOICE AND ACT AGAINST IT? OR ARE YOU STANDING AND WAITING TO MAKE A CHOICE LIKE ME ? Think about your girlfriend(s), think about your sister(s), think about your mother. I missed an opportunity to stand for WHAT IS RIGHT ? BUT I Pray and Hope that YOU DON’T

Who told you that THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE ? IT IS A LIE.. YOU and I take can initiative to change this city, to change this district, to change this state or county, to change this region, to change this country, to change this continent, and ultimately to the change the Whole World, making it a better place for our sons and daughters…

God Bless You

Uniqueness of Christ Part 2 - Quotes

He was the meekest and lowliest of all the sons of men, yet he spoke of coming on the clouds of heaven with the glory of God. He was so austere that evil spirits and demons cried out in terror at his coming, yet he was so genial and winsome and approachable that the children loved to play with him, and the little ones nestled in his arms. His presence at the innocent gaiety of a village wedding was like the presence of sunshine.
No one was half so compassionate to sinners, yet no one ever spoke such red hot scorching words about sin. A bruised reed he would not break, his whole life was love, yet on one occasion he demanded of the Pharisees how they ever expected to escape the damnation of hell. He was a dreamer of dreams and a seer of visions, yet for sheer stark realism He has all of our stark realists soundly beaten. He was a servant of all, washing the disciples feet, yet masterfully He strode into the temple, and the hucksters and moneychangers fell over one another to get away from the mad rush and the fire they saw blazing in His eyes.
He saved others, yet at the last Himself He did not save. There is nothing in history like the union of contrasts which confronts us in the gospels. The mystery of Jesus is the mystery of divine personality.

- James Stewart, Scottish theologian

We look back upon history, and what do we see? Empires rising and falling. Revolutions and Counterrevolutions. Wealth accumulated and wealth disbursed. Shakespeare has written of the rise and fall of great ones, that ebb and flow with the moon. I look back upon my own fellow countrymen, once upon a time dominating a quarter of the world, most of them convinced, in the words of what is still a popular song, that the God who made them mighty, shall make them mightier yet.
I've heard a crazed, cracked Austrian announce to the world the establishment of a Reich that would last a thousand years. I have seen an Italian clown say he was going to stop and restart the calendar with his own ascension to power. I've heard a murderous Georgian brigand in the Kremlin, acclaimed by the intellectual elite of the world as wiser than Solomon, more humane than Marcus Aurelius, more enlightened than Ashoka.
I have seen America, wealthier and in terms of military weaponry, more powerful than the rest of the world put together, so that had the American people so desired, they could have outdone a Caesar, or an Alexander in the range and scale of their conquests.
All in one lifetime, all in one lifetime, all gone. Gone with the wind. England part of a tiny island off the coast of Europe, threatened with dismemberment and even bankruptcy. Hitler and Mussolini dead, remembered only in infamy. Stalin a forbidden name in the regime he helped found and dominate for some three decades. America haunted by fears of running our of those precious fluids that keeps their motorways roaring, and the smog settling, with troubled memories of a disastrous campaign in Vietnam, and the victories of the Don Quixotes of the media as they charged the windmills of Watergate. All in one lifetime, all in one lifetime, all gone. Gone with the wind.
Behind the debris of these solemn supermen, and self-styled imperial diplomatists, there stands the gigantic figure of one, because of whom, by whom, in whom and through whom alone, mankind may still have peace: The person of Jesus Christ. I present him as the way, the truth, and the life.
- Malcolm Muggeridge

The Uniqueness of Christ Part 1

I'm an Indian, a christian. I never used to follow Christ or care about any of it till 2 years ago. Now i think reason and believe. Why are we judging a religion according to the dropdown options in Google. its all technology. BUT One thing is true. Christianity is NOT A RELIGION. It is a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. You look any other world views or religion, they cannot give an answer to the question of
1) Origin
2) Meaning
3) Purpose
4) Destiny
of our life. And NO OTHER religion can explain to you better about SUFFERING in our lives than Christ. For HE suffered for you and me. HE DIED for you and me. And HE ROSE AGAIN victorious so that whoever believes in HIM will Live With HIM in HIM. Christianity/ Christ is no fake. You go through the Bible and compare it with the History and you will find the accuracy of the Bible. Approx 99% of the bible have been researched and found accurate. its a book of 66 books written by more than 100 Authors. But interestingly, whenyou read it its as if it was written by One person, One who existed all through those times, One who was there when all those things happened. GOD. God wrote the Bible for us THROUGH the People of God so that we can have access to God. Bible is not about how we can reach God, its about How God has reached out to us !! God Bless You..
